Readathon
Year 1 joined forces with key stage 2 today to take part in a readathon for children in need. It was fantastic. I am so proud of all children involved!

Diwali
Today was Diwali so year 1 took part in lots of Diwali activities including making paper lanterns, rangoli patterns and finding out why Diwali is celebrated.
Great Fire of London investigation
Our topic this half term is The Great Fire of London. Year 1 are becoming experts on the facts!
Book Day
On Monday, peel brow took part in a book day. Year 1 looked great dressed as their favourite book characters. We enjoyed listening to each others stories in the library and choosing a library book to take home.
